Muirhead Outreach Project accepts referrals from individuals, social work, health, education and various other organisations. As we are a registered charity ( SC 035629 ) many of our services are available free of charge or on a subsidised fee basis - please ask for our terms & conditions.

We offer a range of tailor-made packages for work with young people and families, for example:-
- intensive, time limited individual packages of interventions;
- assessment of needs of child/ young person, family situation and identification of appropriate resources;
- work with the whole family or with carers, offering intensive support if required;
- respite care is available for families under pressure;
- parenting skills training, workshops and support groups;
- reintegration into school, with school support;
- reintegration into family, with supervised contact visits and monitoring;
- activities and new experiences, tailored to the individual, for example our garden project gives children/ young people the opportunity to learn through practical experiences and the environment;
- intensive support to parents/ carers;
- support to individual young person during transition from being in care to independence;
- activity schemes available throughout the year during school holidays.
