Our fund-raising target received a huge boost this month with £2,360 raised from the successful climbing of 2 Munros (Ben Lawers and Beinn Glas). Our grateful thanks to our hardy supporters from MGT, Fife Council, Fife Health Board and Adam Smith College who joined with our young people, parents, committee members and Project Staff to brave the wind and snow to achieve this fantastic result!
A £500 donation from Fostering Relations; £316 donation from Morton Fraser Solicitors, Edinburgh; and £800 donation from Tullis Russell Foundation – bringing our ‘year to date’ fund-raising total to £4,576!
May also saw interviews taking place for sessional workers and volunteers – we were delighted with the calibre of the applicants and this resulted in an excellent selection of candidates being recruited with wide ranging skills and expertise to offer.
