The New Year begins with an ambitious target to raise £25,000 to purchase a static caravan at Pettycur Bay Caravan Park in order to extend and develop the respite care service available to families we work with, particularly those with children who have special needs.
This fund is in addition to the annual fund-raising required for the activity schemes and one-to-one work on-going throughout the year.
This month £150 donation from Creideasach Employment Law Specialists was received to purchase a guitar for one young person who is receiving guitar lessons from our 'music man' John Bell.
Winter Evening Activities continue one evening each week and the group have been enjoying cooking, crafts, games and group work – our thanks to our volunteers who make these sessions possible to offer to so many of the children we work with.
